SATVI's research is supported through strategic marketing and communications, community engagement and advocacy activities. A small dedicated Marketing and Communications team, based in Cape Town and at the project site, drives efforts to support, profile and engage with our stakeholders, locally and internationally.

Key stakeholders include study participants, communities, study sponsors, partners, consortia and collaborators, academia, advocacy networks, legislatures, local, provincial and national government, as well as the media.

Our strategic activities have seen us profiling our research at national and international conferences, engaging with the media, hosting visits to our facilities, collaborating with partners in advocacy interventions, producing media products, conducting events, and drawing on popular culture in edutainment interventions.
