She recently celebrated her 10th anniversary with SATVI. Julia has grown her skills from being first employed as a Phlebotomy Assistant, then Surveillance Clerk,  CV Ward Assistant, and then Data Administrator prior to her current position.

Immunology training (IMPAACT)

This multinational initiative will study TB or BCG-related immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS) in HIV-infected infants and children who start anti-retroviral treatment. The study includes 6 African and an Indian site and entails extensive training, protocol harmonisation and assay standardisation.
